You know a customer is loyal when he's willing to drive 45 minutes to your store! I live in San Francisco. There are plenty of lighting stores closer to my home. Behrang and his team, however, leave no reason for me to even consider other shops. Their showroom has a broad selection of modern and antique-looking fixtures + a solid range to match any budget. Custom orders are also super easy. Behrang knows his selection really well. In addition to buying new fixtures, they also stock the odd light bulbs that you have a hard time finding elsewhere.

As a realtor it's always my first stop (and typically my only stop) in redoing the fixtures of a home. Make sure to say hi to Monta the frenchie while you're there ;-]

What can I say, felt right at home here! Walked in to an amazing display of lights and was greeted by Behrang who made me feel like I've known the guy for years. He assertively but invitingly asked my wife and I what we were looking for, what we had in mind, and literally within seconds knew what to suggest. It was tough for us to know what to be looking for because we had just purchased a house that was built in the 1920's, it was our first home owning experience, and we were trying to remodel on a very tight budget. Cannot express this loud enough, the lights and fixtures he helped us pick out that day, we still get complimented when friends and family walk into our house! I would refer WCLC to anyone looking for lights of any kind, not only for their incredible selection to choose from, but the way they make you feel from the moment you walk in!

Walnut Creek Lighting was just amazing! Unhappy with the large light above the stairs in our entryway we went to Walnut Creek Lighting and were blown away. It can be quite intimidating just walking into a store like this, much less trying to find "just the right light" and WCL made it so easy. They made us feel at home while showing us some of the many options available and explaining the nuances of the choices. WCL even went out of their way to make modifications to the item to insure it was a perfect fit! Huge thanks!!

If you are looking for lighting... go there! Just a great experience from start to finish and we could not be happier with the results!

All of the employees I have worked with at Walnut Creek Lighting are knowledgeable and friendly. We bought lights for our entire home when we moved in last year. The process was daunting at first but Behrang and his staff helped us with all of choices.

The in store inventory is ample and it is so nice to see things in person instead of just ordering them online. I highly recommend this local gem.

UPDATE: we recently moved to Sacramento and were purchasing lights for our new home. After going to five different stores in the area we decided it was worth it to make the trip back to Walnut Creek Lighting and talk directly to the experts!!! The care we were given at Walnut Creek Lighting was so much better than any other store I happily made the hour drive. Behrang and his staff are able to show you many options in the store and have a deep knowledge of all things lighting. Our new lights were delivered right to our doorstep and the employees had even labeled each box letting us know which light went where. This was especially helpful with the stress of installation and let us communicate quickly with our electrician. I can't say enough about this awesome store. Don't waste your time going anywhere else!!

Went to Walnut Creek Lighting shortly after moving into my new home in Oakland. I was very pleased with the selection and the staff was amazingly helpful. I replaced the outdoor lighting and vanity lighting throughout the entire house, as well as several wall sconces, and two chandeliers. I was looking for something super specific for above my dining room table and Behrang (the owner) helped me find exactly what I was looking for in one of the store catalogues. What a gem this place is! I went in looking to replace the sconces in our 1920's home. I didn't have anything particular in mind and wanted to browse. I was greeted immediately by Behrang the shop owner, asked if I needed any help and to let him know if I had any questions. It was a busy time in the store, but I could see that all the staff there was attentive to all the customers whether they were just browsing or actually working with the team on designs and drawings for different projects. I took the time to browse and find some amazing options that caught my eye. This store has the best selection for almost any type of light you might be looking for. Behrang answered all my questions and helped guide my decision simply by looking at photos on my phone and listening to me trying to describe my home. In the end, I left with sconces that looked beautiful in my home and he even shipped the rest of my order to my home within a week. I am so glad I made the trip out to Walnut Creek. Overall, a great experience that will have me recommending Walnut Creek Lighting to my friends, family and neighbors. You just don't find stores anymore that take the time to listen to their customers, balanced with expert guidance and knowledge to find the perfect solution. This will always be my first stop and first recommendation to anyone looking to upgrade their lights or take on a full remodel. You guys rock!
