Thank you ALL that endured through the weather and unprecedented catastrophic Ice Storm of 2025! An amazing thing, to rebuild an entire system in two weeks that took years to build! Thank you to all that helped PIE&G, we take for granted things that make our life easier. Thank you all for making your harder, to give us back our wants, while putting yours aside!!! VERY Shoddy and shady business. When the ice storm happened they did almost nothing for the first week, they never kept the trees managed so they were already touching or bending a lot of the lines before the storm even happened!

Now their making us all suffer with the Internet outage, more and more people keep losing Internet for no reason. They are not doing anything but ghost every single person who needs help, all their Fiber optic support crews and call centers are outsourced, you literally call a random call center in Missouri every time you call their tech support. Oh yeah, they got exposed in their Facebook reviews and immediately made them private, which goes to show what kinda business they are.

Now, they are getting even worse, on top of ignoring everyone, and the horrible management. They are literally just tying the downed fiber lines in a knot so they look fixed, but actually aren't. Then they will leave it and never come back, I've seen 10+ lines like that so far that have been like that for a while and have seen a few linemen in the process.

The only reason this company is here is because they got here before literally everyone else in the 1930s, don't listen to the people saying they're our only option, there weren't as many power providers back then and not certainly as big as they are today. One of the many surrounding providers would've claimed it years ago.

That also just goes to show that the founding team is not there anymore, which also just backs up my point of the bad/foul intentions of theirs. They only care about money but will paint a picture to make it look like they don't.

We need HELP at RUSH LAKE. We have trees on wires. We haven't seen one of your trucks in/at RUSH LAKE. It's been 8 days! RUSH LAKE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE VERY LAST TO GET SERVICE RESTORED!!! DON'T insult my intelligence by saying.... "We're doing everything we can in a safe & timely manner." We've had SO MANY power outages at RUSH LAKE within the past few years. Your lovely people NEVER restore the breaker on Mowery St & Deerfoot! This is the worse company ever. Let's start a Petition to recall the CEO! Bet ya he's nice & warm at his house 👿🤬. APRIL 8, 2025 Still NO power at RUSH LAKE! IT'S BEEN 11 DAYS! HELP US!!! RESIDENTS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE contact CNN & all National News Stations & make a complaint & let them know what we are going thru 🙏🙏🙏 April 11, 2025. 14 days, still NO POWER AT RUSH LAKE! April 14, 2025 - 16 DAYS, NO POWER!!! What a surprise! It's April 29th 2025 and we have been without power at RUSH LAKE for about an hour. It's 7:15pm. Let's see how long this outage lasts! Let's also see if PIE&G fixes the lines on Deerfoot & Mowery St. Maybe the lines finally need to be replaced/upgraded 🤯👿🤪🤔

Member owned utility Co-op. We recently suffered a once in a century ice storm here in Northern Michigan. PIE&G lost virtually all of the infrastructure
100% of their customers (read OWNERS) lost power. For the past two+weeks since the storm they have worked tirelessly to return power to all of the owner/customers. Considering that they linemen/women and engineers had to basically rebuild the entire 10 county network they deserve nothing but thanks and admiration. These brave men and women have put their lives and safety on the line for everyone else. And for the most part they live in the same communities as the rest of the owner/customers. The dedication to restoration of electric services is truly humbling. I am so grateful for all their efforts. Congratulations on going above and beyond.

We love PIE&G. We’ve never had issues with service and find them to be great power suppliers to our rural lake home. I am astounded by the recent negative comments considering the devastating ice storm we had this past week - clearly these people haven’t seen the severe damage done to trees and infrastructure. These aren’t repairs that are made overnight. I am thankful for every employee of PIE&G, from every lineman to every person that answers the phones and every one in between. Keep up the great work.

Fiber line has been down for two weeks, same with the power. Payment still came out for the fiber bill. Called to see about getting credited and stopping bills until it’s fixed. Was told we are a (Co-op), so we can still bill for as long as it’s down.
No respect or care for customers.
I recommend finding any other company for internet, someone more trustworthy, not in a (Co-op).

I was told that our fiber wire would be hung back up last week, it didn't happen. I live on main street in Onaway and literally watched everyone around me get there internet restored, wires being hung and they just skipped right on passed my house. It's literally been on the ground for 2 and a half weeks. I had someone walk into my yard, look at the wire and leave. Never came back, never spoke a word, just left. I keep getting told different things daily and nobody says the same thing twice. It's crazy that I'm the only house in the middle of a lot of houses that didn't get my wire hung back up. I see pieg connect people daily standing in there parking lot, that's how close I am to the pieg connect building
Technical support is a joke, I called 8 times today 4-21-2025 waited for 15 minutes to speak with someone, only for it to disconnect on every call at the 15 minute mark. Horrible customer service. Also, my fiber line is still laying on the ground as of today as well

Thank you for all your hard work restoring everyone's power in the ice storm. I know there are a lot of people complaining that they don't have power yet. We were without power ourselves for 11 days and I appreciate the effort and the long hours that the linemen have put in. People are quick to judge but I honestly think they have no idea the magnitude of the work that is put into this rebuild effort. Thank you for turning back on our lights and keep up the good work!
