I wish I can give 0 stars I have made several appointments virtually and Never receive a call. I have no time to go to Grand Haven to be seen in person. It's Soo crazy how they are so quick to cut you off for lack of information about a person I haven't seen in 13 years but are so slow to provide you with an update it's been several months this is crazy and sickening. The workers especially Reyna is HORRIBLE and sucks Soo unprofessional

Would rate lower if possible Engle needs to be stripped of his certification and charged.. for all his unfair trials and abuse of power! he is garbage!!
There is plenty of people for class action for all the damages etc.
when will higher courts step in?!

I would rate 0 stars if I could. My daughter’s father is currently over $6000 behind in support and didn’t show up for his show cause hearing. I received a letter that a warrant was issued and he would need to pay $1,400. Now the warrant is gone bc he paid $200!? That’s not even half of the minimum he was supposed to pay. $100 of that $200 paid goes to the court so as long as they get their money that’s all that matters not the child the money needs to be supporting.

Pathetic incompetence and a bunch of parasites off the tax payer these people destroy the lives of children . They are completely a bunch of clowns . Petition to remove the incompetence. A one star is way too high .no show on scheduled appointments. No ability to view facts and make any appropriate recommendations at the detriment of children. The acronym FOC is perfect (Friend of corruption )!! Fathers have zero rights with these clowns clean house. My kids have dropped out of school and have missed 25-30 days of school per year for 3 years and it’s a waste of the courts time to look into this. Multiple violations on my father rights and its I don’t want to be bothered attitude !! If had the track record of my ex I wouldn’t have a kid within miles of me. Corruption and complete continued violations of my father rights with Zero accountability ! I’m an good and involved father and have always been supportive and involved and these people act like “how dare you be involved we will discourage you from being involved in your kids lives “ that’s the feeling this agency repeatedly embraces.. must be their mission statement.

Very word by mouth based. Like you need to push them to SHOW THEM evidence. I would advise anyone dealing with foc ottawa county to:
Save every reference number per phone call all messages between parties AND the foc/caseworkers. And don’t count on legal self help center much.

I've tried getting visitation for my son for awhile now and I can never seem to get ahold of my case worker. I've left messages and I've told them several times to please set up visitation for me and the case worker never does. And it's been 15 years now and still no answer and no visitation. But as soon as I get a little behind in child support they are quick to jump on that. Worst court in the world bunch of lazy good for nothings.

They should have zero star rating. So the front of the court change to a new 800 number that takes you to 25 different places before you can actually talk to the Ottawa county friend of the court. It’s not an improvement it’s definitely not friendly.
