No tiene sentido hacen una cita se para chequeo, y luego cuando estás en la clínica de avisa de que no puedes ser atendido por qué la cita fue cancelada con el seguro, para que no manda otro mensaje de que ya se cánselo la cita y siempre hacen venir a perder el tiempo y ni siquiera le dan soluciones solo le dicen que no, la verdad he venido solo 3 veces aquí y la primera fue para los lentes y las otras veces ha sido por ayuda y ni siquiera eso hacen, prareciera que no quieren hacer su trabajo, la verdad no lo recomiendo

I started going here about 2 weeks ago and I've had a very good experience. It is very convenient for me and everybody's been so nice. I got new glasses and we're figuring out which contact lenses are right for me now with trials as my eyes have gotten dry and I think we finally figured it out. Everyone has been professional and it's clean, nice, and it's been accommodating. Dr Samala Khan is very nice and patient. I recommend this place.

To preface this review, I have been coming to Montgomery Village Eye Center for 5+ years. Each time I visit, I've had a slightly worse experience than the last. During my most recent visit I don’t think I’ve ever felt more financially violated and disrespected from anywhere before. The doctor is fine, but most issues arise when they hand you off to their billing staff, whose goal is to sell you products - which would be alright if they weren't already incredibly marked up. My latest experience and from reading other reviews on this page has convinced me that they are commissioned staff. They have absolutely no interest in explaining their offerings, and rely on you to ask questions - especially makes it difficult when you're trying to understand what you need. I’ve had an incredibly traumatic experience with the most recent billing staff member who smirked at me (as if she had me financially cornered) when she explained that I would be paying the same amount (after the exam + insurance) with or without the contacts (only a 90 day supply). With my high coverage insurance, this would mean that the contacts would come out to over $100/box, compared to a retail price of only ~$75/box at the MAX. When I tried to switch to monthly contacts the staff explained that I would've needed a separate appointment for that (apart from a daily contacts appointment). This set me back as I was never questioned about the type of contacts I was looking for during the exam. IF I ever visit again, or if you visit, keep your guard up and bring a notebook and pen with a list of questions/notes, because the staff are not there for you nor are they there to help you save money/maximize your benefits.

Just got back from my eye appointment on 12/11/23. I went here expecting a decent service as it's not a corporate chain. Dr. Adam Rubin was great, very professional and he did his part well. The front desk people were nice, but really doesn't know what they were doing, but wasn't rude or ignoring, they tried their best. The lady at the lens section who tried to interact with customers when the front desk people struggled, shouldn't be even talking to customers. She's pretty rude and not friendly.
I was told by the front desk person that they're reading my current glasses prescription. I was told by the Dr. that my prescription didn't change after the checkup. I walked out but want to check back with my current glasses prescription to confirm the readings. I was greeted by the lady at the lens section, and when I asked her about my current glasses readings, she said they wouldn't share that. But she can tell me whether it's changed or not, she checked and tell me that it's changed. When I asked twice why I was told by the Dr. that there is no changes in prescription and the front desk didn't notified me when I walked out, she just said sorry.
This made me not to trust the whole process and this place. I don't know now whether I should go with what this lady says or the Dr. I left the place anyways, as I don't want to waste my time.
I'll never go to this place again.

They have the worse employees I have ever met and I've met a lot of office employees, I'm office employee myself. Front staff is very rude, they are nice at first to separate your money from your pocket but once you have a problem they don't wanna work with. People give good reviews because they didn't have problem yet, once you have problem with them they don't want to help you out. ONLY GO THERE IF YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY DESPERATE AND I MEAN ABSOLUTELY DESPERATE.

I am writing this too praise the care, kindness and professionalism I received today from Samala Khan, Stephanie, Izzy and Augusto! Absolutely the best experience ever at any medical appointment! I was so comfortable and relieved after having neglected my eyes for over eleven years! No need for that, just make an appointment and for sure you will be one hundred percent satisfied!
