Best corned beef Reuben sandwich!!! When we travel we like to find local delis to eat at, and this place was great. Right off the highway. An old country store, wooden floors and tin ceiling, with an authentic butcher and deli in the back. They sell everything from spices, soda, chips, beer, wine, liquor and groceries. The lady in line ahead of me was buying corned beef for St Patty's Day dinner. We eat on the front porch.

Just before Christmas, I made a road trip and was on the backroads for quite some time and needed some food. Stopped in town and found myself at Marshall’s, figured why not explore another country store? Everyone inside was friendly and the atmosphere felt so cozy. Went to the back to see what they had for hot food and I was greeted by one of the chefs, (I think his name was Joey, I’m terrible with names) and he introduced their menu to me and there was so much to choose from! I ended up getting a burger and chatted with a few customers while I waited. The employees were so friendly and understanding and I had a great time. Got my burger and a soda and went out to my car to eat it, and hands down it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. My father would be upset if I told him this burger was better than his… but it was true! Next time I’m up in the area I will go out of my way to make a pit stop. Fair prices, amazing customer service, and overall a pleasant time. Would recommend to anyone!

Deli sandwiches were delicious and packed full of meat! So thankful this place was open on new years day while we're traveling. We almost settled for some sub par dunkin donuts next door but luckily checked this place just in case. The woman working the counter was so sweet and gave our pup a treat while we waited on our sandwiches. Lots of good finds here. Definitely a great stop!

Marshall’s Country Store is a cornerstone of the Bernardston community. I strongly recommend the Thanksgiving Grinder or trying something new on their daily specials board. Friendly faces AND quality service. 5/5

New ownership as of late 2023.

Jesse and Amber have 100% turned the store around & are passionate about their business. Phenomenally clean, friendlier staff, meats and prepared food are super fresh. Highly recommend stopping in.
