Our 20-year old furnace died on New Years Day and needed to be replaced in a hurry. Rick and his team did an outstanding job: they came over and provided a very cost-effective estimate the day after I contacted them and installed the furnace on a Saturday, only 2 days after I received the estimate. The Malibu crew did a very professional job: they arrived on time and cleaned up the inevitable debris after they were done. The new furnace is quieter and more efficient than the previous one. Highly recommended!

I used Malibu Heating & Air Conditioning a few years back to add air conditioning to my existing heater. The service we received from this company was outstanding. They were knowledgeable, did a clean install and did not leave until we were comfortable using our new equipment. This past month I decided it was time to change out our leaking gutters. We got an estimate on Friday and they were here to start the install the following Monday. The gutters look great and there is no mess as they took the old gutters with them! I would definitely recommend Malibu for all heating, air, and sheet meal needs. Great work Rick and Malibu employees.

Malibu Heating and Air conditioning provided a detailed fair quote, the most detailed one I received. They installed top grade Mitsubhishi HVAC heat pump. The installers were professional and did an outstanding job going above and beyond expectations. We are extremely happy with the installation, quality, and professionalism of the entire purchase life cycle. Rick (the owners) is a lifesaver. Our heater stopped working a few days before Christmas Eve. We were worried we wouldn't have heat to entertain family because it was so close to the holidays. Rick and the Malibu Crew installed a new central AC system for my house. I got several bids for the project. However, Rick took the time to explain the design, options, recommendations, and pros/cons of different systems. I called Rick multiple times during the bid process to ask questions and he always either answered the phone or called me back ASAP.
After reviewing all proposals, I selected Rick and Malibu Heating AC. His price was extremely competitive, but most importantly I believed in his integrity. I’ve heard horror stories about other contractors providing the lowest possible bid only to do a “bait and switch” during the project to increase their profitability.

No issues with Rick. He stuck by the agreed upon price for the project and even went above and beyond on certain areas without charging additional fees. Never once did Rick try to “nickel and dime” me for surcharges.

The Malibu crew were also great. They were always on time and kept the working area clean. The crew respected the house and my family. It helps to also provide them some doughnuts and coffee each morning. 😀 They work extremely hard and even finished the project ahead of schedule.

Now we have a wonderfully cool house during the summer and toasty warm house during the winter. Thanks Rick and Malibu crew. I highly recommend them for any project—big or small.

I can't express enough how thankful I am for Malibu Heating & Air coming out to my house on very short notice to fix my heater! I woke up in an ice box this morning after my HVAC went out. I thought I was going to have to suffer at least a few days before getting my heater fixed, but I scheduled an appointment with Rick and he was kind enough to come take care of my issue right away. He was very accommodating, friendly, and fixed my heater quickly. It was clear he knew what he was doing because he went straight to it and resolved my issue in no time.
