I am dissatisfied with the way this company has handled my entire transaction.
I purchased many light fixtures from Lamps Plus for a total of $70k. This purchase was only the beginning of a series of problems with the company. Not only were the light fixtures delivered late, but every item in my large order was either incorrect or delayed. Despite multiple attempts to address the issue directly,I received no resolution. LBU took the chandelier back because it was defective and never replaced it.
After several failed attempts to resolve the matter, I took the company to small claims court. I won the case, with the court ruling that LBU must return my $. However, instead of honoring the court order, they appealed the decision. In a subsequent court hearing, I won once again. Even after this second ruling, they have refused to return my money as ordered by the court.
The behavior exhibited by LP, including refusing to comply with court orders and the dishonesty exhibited by their owner, is unacceptable. The owner has repeatedly lied about the transactions and continues to make false statements about the status of the issue. This is not just a failure to fulfill business obligations; it reflects a pattern of dishonesty and disregard for legal proceedings.

These guys are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and fun! They showed me ideas I'd never even considered for our challenging loft home (odd power locations inside our place).

Their lighting in the shop astounds - beautiful, contemporary light fixtures in addition to a huge stock of unusual bulbs.

This is where I'll go once we decide our fixture budget.

I go to this place for specialty light bulbs that are not common. Folks here always treat me nice, even if I am just looking for one bulb. If the place is busy, it can be hectic, but if its slow, they take the time to walk you through their selection.

What a horrible customer service person, 30ish guy....No desire to help me. I just wanted a bathroom make up light bulb. The large round bulb found in many homes. He acted like I was crazy. Don't waste your time !

This has been our go-to place for hard to find; lightbulbs, ballasts, strip lights and fixtures, for 30 years. The staff knows what they're doing and can not only get you what you need, but can often diagnose hard to figure out problems. Big box stores no longer carry the length bulb I needed when a kitchen backlight went out. Lightbulbs Unlimited had it in stock as well as the replacement ballast. Thanks guys!

25 year old outdoor low volt sockets could not be found anywhere else, and nobody else showed any interest in trying. Sockets were ordered and ready within a week! Always pays off to go to the specialists.
