We ordered shades on Nov 22, 2024. They arrived Jan 2, 2025, and the shades were completely wrong: wrong dimensions, wrong material, wrong color. I contacted customer service and they agreed to remake the shades in the right color and size, and they even rushed the order to me to assure that I would be home when they arrived as we had a vacation planned. The new shades are perfect and I am very happy with them. Thank you, Customer Service at JOAS..

Third pic can see received the new shade and now they both match. Company did their best to fix the issue (though contacting them initially was an obstacle) they did rush the re-craft and shipment, and now I have two shades with matching grain.

Received two shades, they look fine when the lamp is off, when it's on it's clear the grain of the fabric is in two different directions. Contacted the company customer service email hoping to have one of them fixed and no one responded, called the company and no one answers and the local number on the site is disconnected. Good luck.

One week later (claimed email was in spam folder) received a response offering a new shade or a partial refund for one of the shades. Will update when resolution is completed.

Update - I have not yet received my shades, I have to constantly chase customer service for a status, she always tells me that same thing - She hasn't heard from the warehouse manager. The last story is that my (2) very ordinary lampshades are stuck in the port - really? that is a really old excuse. What a terribly run company. They can't deliver on what was identified as "in stock" basic lamp shades and for (5) months now, I am no further along in having my order completed.

Here is my experience with JOAS. I ordered (2) in stock lamp shades on December 1, 2023. Today is 12/27. I called about a week ago and asked for a status and was told that the shades were supposed to be shipped on 12/18. The JOAS rep said she would contact the manufacturer and email me the status. She did not email me the status and I still after a month do NOT have my "in Stock" lamp shades. My experience leads me to suggest to anyone considering buying lamp shades that other vendors may be a better choice. No status, no updates, broken promises and unresponsive.

Christy has been a gem to work with. I ordered fabric samples and when I selected my sample, i came to learn that it was no longer available. No worries! Christy spoke to me and we mutually decided on a selection that would work well with the base of my lamp. The original bottom measurement was 22" and I would have incurred a hefty amount for shipping at this size. Christy explained that if I could go 1 inch smaller, I would not need to pay for the extra large box. It worked out great! I used this company back in 2021 with smashing looking pleated blue shades. I was so happy to have needed an additional lamp shade as these folks are the best! I highly recommend them.

We ordered two sets of shades and they arrived today. I can't stop looking at them as I think they look absolutely modern and beautiful. The picture is of one set in my living room.

Unfortunately I haven’t received my order. I contacted the company and they cited a holiday for the delay. I’m not sure what holiday between 09/14-10/12 causes at least a week delay. You’re better off going with Fenchel Shades.

Made 2 lampshades which were copied from originals. Were made perfectly and better then the original shades. Great customer service.
