This my second time attending Inver Hills Community College. The staff and Instructors are friendly, attentive, and helpful. The campus is beautiful and easy to navigate. Lots of student activities and groups to get plugged into. Most importantly, tuition is affordable. Highly recommend IHCC for your college career.

I should have trusted my gut about this school. It started when I requested information about my program and didn’t get a response. Then I tried to email an instructor from the program with questions. Still no response.

I am allergic to a vaccine they required for the program i enrolled in. I asked about medical exemptions and they didn’t respond to that email. I was told to get the vaccine or drop out. I asked again about medical exemptions and still no response. When I said I would drop they responded to my email in about 10 minutes.

I am not an anti vaxxer. I have all of the other required vaccines. This was a poor decision on their part. I was paying for everything up front with no loans or financial aid.

This school is great! Classes are refreshing, professors are amazing! Would certainly recommend this school for anyone not sure what they want to go to school for quite yet, or really anyone looking to get a quality education for a third of the price!
EDIT 3/18 - I had some questions regarding classes for the summer and fall semester, gave them a call and they were able to answer all of them promptly and efficiently. Thank you!! (Amy was the gal that helped me, very sweet and helpful)

I graduated from here and I talked to advisors. They helped me get my degree. I had amazing professors in every class I took here. The advisors don’t know how to help with resumes or careers which is typical of community colleges, probably why they became counselors. You have to go to a university to get counselors who actually know how to guide you into a good career but I got a degree here that helped me get into a university.

I have been attending this college for two years now, I love it! They have a great support system for students and the instructors here are truly amazing. The class number is always small and I like that because it allows for your professor to get to know each and every one of us as students.

All in all, I had a positive experience with this school. I mainly took online classes so the interaction I had with the staff and professors were limited. The only thing that lacked was communication. I took a class and found out the school took away my financial aid and failed to communicate that with me. I tried to petition but that got denied.

Just beware, this school doesn't communicate well with its students. I even complained to the head of the financial aid department and the president of the school and I still hear horror stories about the school not communicating important information. I went to another community college and everything was communicated.
