BUYERS BEWARE:

3-4 Months ago we bought a couch and a chair (about the same price as other places around) when we moved into our new house. We also purchased a couch for downstairs that was as is because it had a small tear in it. Customer service was great and they seemed knowledgeable. However, our recliner chair and one end of our reclining couch don’t latch in properly so the back always feels off. When you lean back in the chair you can feel where it slips. My husband called and asked about the set. He was informed they were out of town and would get back to us when they were back in town.

2 weeks went by with no contact from the company. So at 3 weeks I went into the store to ask about the warranty on our sofa set since we’d not heard back and only owned the set for a few months.. I told her what the problem was and she took notes and told me that Hersch would have to come have a look at it. She told me that it would probably be Monday or Tuesday after Thanksgiving which was fine, it being a holiday weekend and all.

Well it’s been another week and no call, nobody has shown up. At this point I’m done doing business with this company. They are great as long as they are going to make money but as soon as they might lose some money their true colors show. I had a couple other items I was looking to purchase but since they can’t seem to handle issues with their furniture, I will go someplace else from now on.
