I recently purchased a replacement Pentair 5G board from Florida Sunseeker, and I’m blown away by how much brighter it is! It still connects seamlessly to my Pentair system, though the colors are a little off (for example, red is green and purple is blue), but once you figure that out, it works flawlessly.

The service was top-notch. I originally ordered the full light with the cord, but I realized I didn’t need it. The return process was handled flawlessly—quick and easy with no hassle. Plus, everything I ordered was delivered in just two days. I couldn’t be happier with their service!

Highly recommend for both product quality and exceptional customer service!

This is the second time I've ordered pool and spa lights through Sun Seekers. They are a small shop and when I called to order new lights because lights don't last forever, they answered all my questions and less than 5 minutes after I put my order online I received a message letting me know my order was ready and being shipped, I thought this was an automated message but no, I received another message saying it was in route and then it showed up on my porch a day early! I have installed one light so far and it looks great. This kind of service and quality from small businesses is a rarity and I wish more businesses were running like Sun Seekers. I will continue to purchase from them and so should you.

Purchased 2 Pooltone lights to replace Pentairs that only lasted 5 years. Unfortunately both of them failed in about 1 year. Certain LEDs started flickering, then going out until none of them worked. One lasted about 1 month longer than the other, but in the end both died.

I purchased 9 of the Pooltone Jandy Watercolor 12v replacement light kits from them. The reasonable cost of $370 each was a huge savings compared to buying the OEM light board which are over $1k a piece. The purchase process was quick and easy. Cory helped me out and was very helpful on the phone. Installation was quite easy too... 1 screw to remove the light from the niche, pull it out of the pool, dry it off, remove the 12 screws or so on the back, unplug ground wire and two other wires from the original board, add standoffs, reattach ground and two wires, clean off all surfaces, and change the lens seal (brand new seal provided in the kit). A 10-15 minute process. The lights are nice and bright and it's easy to cycle through the different colors and light shows. The slow fades are really nice. I highly recommend this product and this company. I'll try to provide updates over time to this review to provide some info on the longevity as short lifespan is typically the major issue with most pool lights. Out of the 9 original Jandy's that I had, 6 had died within 10 years (with no evidence of water intrusion into the housings). I'm hopeful that these boards are built to last.

I am afraid I have to give them a 2 Star. I have dealt with multiple replacements with their lights. At one point an employee sent an email indicating they would just honor it if this one burned out. Mind you I went through 4 lights in 3 years. Each time I am eating the cost of installation.

When I referenced their email and what was promised, they simply decided not to honor it. This is a bridge too far for me, if your word doesn't mean anything, why would I bother buying another product.

Purchased Pooltone Nichless 1.5" lights to replace my Pentair Globrite Color Changing LED Lights and I used the installer they highly recommended, Pete Silverman from Platinum Pools of South Florida. The lights didn't last even 7 months, so I called for warranty service only to be told that since Pete supplied the lights the warranty service would have to go through him. I contacted him over a month ago and have yet to receive the replacements. He has promised to come out on several occasions and then cancels or never shows up. I have lost money I can't afford and now have to pay to buy new lights. I will be filing a small claims lawsuit against Pete next week, but don't buy from Florida Sunseeker, they don't stand behind their products and their products are a waste of money.

Misleading Advertising and Poor Customer Service

I recently purchased a Pool Tone Standard White Pool Light from Florida Sunseeker, which claimed it works with any 8 inch pool niches. However, our pool has an older 8 inch Swim Quip niche, and the light did not fit as advertised.

This experience was disappointing on multiple levels. Firstly, the product description was misleading. If it had been accurate, I would have known that the light wouldn't be compatible with our niche, and I would have avoided the purchase altogether.

Adding to the frustration, I was charged an additional $27 for shipping. When I attempted to return the light, I was hit with a 20% restocking fee. This means that despite not breaking or damaging the product, I was penalized $101.33 (20% of the original purchase price) for their misleading advertisement.

In my opinion, this company is more interested in squeezing every possible dollar from their customers than in providing a satisfactory customer experience. Their return policy feels like a deliberate strategy to discourage returns and hold onto more of your money, regardless of the circumstances.

I would not recommend Florida Sunseeker to anyone. Unfortunately, their misleading advertising and poor handling of returns have left me with a very negative impression of their business practices.

Customer service was helpful when we spoke to them. We ultimately ended up having to return our pool light fixture because our pool guy told us our fixture wasn't working, but it turned out only the bulb needed to be replaced. We were able to return our fixture and were very thankful that customer service was accommodating.
