My elderly mother has been in this location for about a week after hospitalization for short-term rehab. The facility is pleasant, clean, and ideally located for me. The staff has been wonderful! They have always shown a high level of courteousness and professionalism. With my mom, they have been attentive, kind, and caring. They have had great communication with me and are willing and able to address my questions and concerns. The physical therapist works well with my mom’s physical and psychological needs. I would definitely recommend this facility to someone looking for short-term care for an elderly person.

My stay here has been wonderful. Exceeded all expectations. The facility is newly renovated. Rooms are spacious with plenty of closet space for my clothing and private belongings. When my family comes to visit we sit on the patio or in the recreation room. My therapists in the rehab gym are excellent. Charles is the best. He works me hard but makes sure I make progress. Abigail my CNA is the kindest person. She gives me a bath daily and makes sure I am dressed and ready for the day. Anything I need I ask her. I am so grateful for everyone here.

I was at Family of Caring in Tenafly for the past three weeks recovering from a home fall on my ankle. I’ve had a wonderful stay. Everyone in this facility is nice and caring and you can tell they love what they do. Physical therapy here is outstanding. The equipment is progressive and the exercises are hard and challenging but the therapists here are so motivating and helpful. Carol is the number one aide in the world. She has worked harder with me than she probably should have. I think the world of her. She has given me all the mental and physical help I needed to get strong enough to go home. All the nurses here are fantastic. They are professional and give wonderful care. The food is delicious and they offer a wonderful variety of meals. It’s a clean facility and very spacious rooms. I have been to two other facilities and I can honestly say this is the best facility I have ever stayed in. I recommend it 100% to anyone who needs a place to recuperate. If I ever get sick again this is the only place I would go to. It’s outstanding here because they tend to all your needs and really care about you. Thank you to everyone!

This is my second stay at Family of Caring in Tenafly. There is no where else I would go to recuperate. The nurses are wonderful and supportive. They provide updates to my wife on my health. Physical therapy is hard but excellent. Their new gym is spacious and the machines are new and encouraging. The food is very good. Recreation offers group activities throughout the day and provide room visits too. People care about me here and I appreciate the supportive environment.

The staff could not have been more attentive, friendly and caring. They brought smiles to all of us today and made my mom felt great. We felt good about saying goodbye tonight knowing she was in such good hands.

Visited my elderly neighbor tonight at Family of Caring at Tenefly. The facility was clean, cheerful , clean and the staff was friendly. I could see she was well being cared for. When I asked for something everyone was eager to help. I spoke with the nice woman at the front desk, she was delightful and the first person you see coming in as a visitor. My overall review of the facility is that it seems very good. Thank you

As a patient here for the past week I am grateful for my stay. The therapy here is excellent. I am getting stronger every day. Nursing is professional and kind and caring. The room is spacious and clean. There is plenty of space to have visitors.
