Tuesday morning, Oct 29, 2024, I called Easton Utilities for Internet service. A Service Tech arrived within minutes. He was polite, respectful, worked non-stop all morning. My Internet signal is steady, strong, working great now. He also fixed a problem I was having with TV reception. The picture is now so clear that it's like having a new TV. I don't know the young man's name. His knowledge and skill set are definitely impressive. I am very grateful to Easton Utilities and most certainly pleased with how dedicated this young man is to providing excellent service. Linda Jones

The electric service is great, and the internet tech service is great and that is why I give them two stars. The problem is that they have a monopoly on the internet service here in Easton and they decide on a personal whim whether they will make a payment arrangement or not, even if you are living 400 percent below the poverty level. I guess I am lucky that I can even afford it. They won't even wait an extra week and a half, even though the disconnect notice says that they will make a payment arrangement. So, I guess they just make payment arrangements whenever they 'feel like it'. If I can find something else one day, I will definitely take it.

I can sort understand internet issues, I work in an escape room so my work revolves around internet. I spoke with Tim in tech support for almost 30 minutes, he was efficient, kind and laughed with us when my coworker and I could not believe we were having this much of an issue (we accidentally did a factory reset on our router, user error). He assured us we were doing everything correctly and was very sweet and patient with us when we could not understand what was going on. Thank you Tim, the 5 stars is for you!

The bad storms on July 3 reeked havoc in the Corbin community although I never lost power the lightning strikes did fry my router within an hour of me reporting the outage they called me back and scheduled a time the following day, which was the fourth a federal holiday and came and replaced my router. They were great product and awesome customer service in tech-support, get the problem, resolved, even though it was a major holiday.

I’ve found the services with Easton Utilities amazingly good. I’m really surprised at some of the negative postings - I moved here two years ago and found they have much better service than my previous utility company. Plus I love the billing with everything posted on one page, easy to read. When I call I get one person to talk with and without being put on hold and then scrolling through an endless menu. Service guys are on time, friendly and get the job done. Five stars for me!

Their power, water and gas service is fine, and generally everyone I’ve dealt with is respectful, courteous and helpful, however their internet service is flat out poor. Downtime is weekly at least, and upload speeds are incredibly limited, and the prices are too high, especially for the speeds they offer. It’s unfortunate they have zero competition in the internet space because as far as I know the entire town of Easton is on a fibre backbone and could really see gigabit speeds for a reasonable price, but we are stuck in 2012 with Easton Utilities internet.

Smelled a tiny gas leak. Reported it to Easton Utilities. Serviceman named Gunner arrived within 20-30 minutes. He was very friendly, very easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and very professional. He quickly identified the leak and fixed the problem.

Initially I had been concerned the leak was a figment of my active imagination. But now I am very happy I called.

Gunner also informed me about other gas issues and safety concerns. He was exceptional.
