Called today and spoke to Brett about difficulty placing an order through the website. He asked what I needed and immediately took my order over the phone. He made the process simple, easy, and fast. Hats off. I will not hesitate to do business here again for any thing for a ceiling fan. Dan's had a replacement glass dome for my fan that I couldn't find anywhere else..

Like everyone under construction right now, sourcing materials has been difficult. I've had to get creative and take chances on unknowns. I'm in the NE, never heard of Dan's Fans. They are trustworthy and fantastic. I found the fan I wanted but it wasn't in stock anywhere. Through a google search found Dan's Fans. Called the store - they didn't have them but were able to give me a window of arrival time. I don't know who I spoke with but he couldn't have been more helpful. Also helped me understand whether or not I needed an extension for the fans based on the height of the ceiling. I purchased over the phone. I received the fans as promised. They are perfect.

This store is totally packed with fans ! The display and storage all together you can't even walk properly around the store. I have never seen anything like it. He definitely needs organizing and storage.
We did get a fan and customer service was outstanding.

I am contractor and had been referring Dan's Fan City to my clients for over ten years. I will no longer refer. Having referred a client for an outdoor fan to install on a pergola we constructed my client was sold a moisture resistant fan and not an outdoor rated fan. A few months later (after the fan failed) Dan's Fan City sent and electrician who stated the fan was installed incorrectly but failed to mention the fan was not made for the outdoors. My client paid for the visit and i in turn paid my client. Dan's fan City took no responsibility and I in turn paid them for a second fan that was installed (and now needs to be replaced by the Dan's Fans City electrician). They could have discounted the fan (they did not), they could have replaced the "moisture' fan with and outdoor (they did not). They could have taken responsibility (they did not).

My last review was accidentally deleted but we have vaulted ceiling that was a problem when picking out a fan. Home Depot was no help, the fan we bought off Amazon didn't fit. The sales people at Dan's Fan city gave us excellent advice, and even allowed us to try a few extender rods free of charge to make sure we got a Fan that fit. Thank you!

Great place if you want good quality fans. You can pick the finish and blade color and pattern. They also have fan parts and accessories if you need to replace any parts. Family owned and very nice folks

I never review businesses on media, but was moved to do so this time. Came in on a Sunday seeking fan repair advice. Jon was supremely knowledgeable and friendly! He quickly identified the problem, which turned out to be (an unaffiliated) contractor’s error, and provided free assistance in resolving it. Great selection of reliable fans, six of which have been running in our house for a dozen years now!

This store is a treasure - new fans, many designs, mix and match components, remote control kits, and parts to fix fan switches. Prices are excellent and the staff are incredibly helpful. One piece of advice: if trying to replace a fan control switch, fully document which color wires go into each if the ports before disconnecting the switch. Unfortunately, there really seem to be few rules to guide installation of the new switch if you don't.
