Beware. They are worse than BWW and if you think that's too extreme ask did they ever cut your water off 5 times over a 35 dollar water bill so they could charge you 200 dollars literally 10 days after the bill was due. Crooks. If you have the option dig a well. I wish I had done that. The amount of times they cut my water off and it was their fault and still charged me 200 dollars is astonishing.

A single wide trailer with no one living in it and the last 2 water bills were $177 And $90. There was no one at the trailer but me every other day for a couple of hours. No leaks brand new water line. So how did I used 29,000 gallons of water. I didn't but I sure did pay for it.

Water has been off 3 or 4 times in the past couple of months due to leaks. They don't notify you when this happens and if you call the standard answer is it shouldn't be to much longer. It seems with as much as you pay them they could install some better pipes!

Called the emergency number because where the meter box is was filled with water and it's Saturday. First it was like 3 or 4 numbers we were directed through before finally a very rude man answered the phone. He the proceeded.to say "just turn the water off." What did I know? I could not even see the water meter! He said he could come out and turn it off for us but if the leak was on our side we would have a service charge. Understandable, but for the love! Atleast be nice and tell us how to do what we need to do. Their rates are higher.than any other water department. The least they could do is be nice!

They swapped account systems for online payment and didn't inform the customer and they did not carry the old accounts over, so if you didn't know of the switch that they never informed you of your next bill will likely come with a lot of late charges.

Oh and you need your account number and pin that comes on your paper bill, which if you signed up for paperless billing you won't have.

The most aggravating utility company I have EVER had to deal with. Will shut you off even if your bill is paid. Their phone lines consistently down. Charges 4x more than any other utility company and when questioned says it's our fault. No. Blount County Water, I DO NOT have a leak. This isn't a 1x complaint. I've lived here for 4 years, and I consistently have water bills OVER $100. Its a racket, and if I had ANY other option, I would take it.

We have lived in the same house for over three years. The first two years, we never had an issue with our water and all was great. But for the last 6 months to a year we have been struggling to get the right amount of water to our house. We have spent $1300+ on a plumber because the water company kept telling us the problem was not on their end. Only to have our plumber locate THEIR leak. We asked them to pay the plumber bill and they basically laughed at us. Since then, we have to decide if we want to take a shower/run a load of laundry/ run the dishwasher because there is not enough water to do more than one, and sometimes there’s not enough to do any. We have two babies at home ALL day long that require bottles to be washed and clothes to be laundered and baths. This is UNACCEPTABLE. They keep telling my husband that the problem is on our end but then once they say we just fixed a leak over “insert any road basically” our water pressure goes back up. Hmmm.... they don’t understand BASIC water terms like the difference between VOLUME and PRESSURE. They turned their regulator up to fix the issue at one time.... then days later our water pressure was messed up again only to be told that they had to turn their regulator back down because they have old pipes that can’t handle that amount of pressure. Soooo basically you’re telling me you need to replace those pipes, right? No. The issue is never on their end. Zero customer service and basically incompetent people working there. I wish I could say other wise.

I just called to pay my bill, and of course they have already closed. 20 minutes early. And of course they are closed tomorrow. So now I will get a late fee all because they didn't stay open until 5pm like they were supposed too. This is ridiculous.
