The Staff at this location are incredible. Responsive and know the products inside and out! B&O products are for the type of people that want the best in design and sound. The quality you get in addition to the products are the people/teams at the store. Please as for Mark Mendelsohn or anyone there and you will not be disappointed. The other person I dealt with went to reopen the SF Bay area store and that was Nicole Perez.

Bang & Olufsen La Jolla is awesome! Back in 2020, I purchased my dream setup, at the time we were living in the Bay Area, and there was no more B&O in our area. The La Jolla store was a highly rated store, so I called them up, and inquired about their inventory. It was a pleasant conversation with Doug and Spencer about my needs and what I was interested in accomplishing, which turned into them hand delivered my setup 400+ mi away!

Since then, we've kept in touch, and now that I live in SoCal, I hit up the store for all my B&O needs - yes once you buy one, you will buy more! And the folks over there are genuine - not salesy or pushy. They stand by their products and with great customer service. They're very knowledgable about sound systems and AV setups - at one point when I moved, I was having trouble with my WiSA setup, and they sent a technician to trouble shoot even after I purchased my setup 2 years later!

The store is well laid out and is in a fun part shopping of La Jolla - I try and make it a stop when I'm in the area, and grab lunch and a stroll.

Excellent place to purchase high end quality audio equipment. Coby is extremely knowledgeable, he was very helpful, even stopped by our home to personally assist with the setup. My latest buy was the Balance speaker for the kitchen, perfect! Highly recommend this business.

Bought several B&O pieces, absolutely the best rich luxury quality audio all around and worth every cent! As a brand advocate, I trust and exclusively purchase all from La Jolla, CA store in person and via email remotely with Doug. Doug at the store in La Jolla/San Diego is THE BEST - No pressure, brilliantly informed, professional, friendly and so nice! Couldn’t be happier with the experience in store, the years of purchase history at La Jolla, quality and and post purchase happiness. Thank you!!

Very minimal after sales service although after reading some of these reviews, it is good to know that B&O La Jolla, specifically Doug, will respond to some people’s emails or inquiries, just not mine. About half a year has elapsed since I first sent a message to them with a couple of emails to follow up…to no avail.

Multiple experiences of horrible customer support. Worst Bang & Olufsen location (from a long term B&O customer). Before the pandemic and and supply chain issues I contacted the La Jola B & O to get a replacement plastic foot for my speaker. I was told this was not a problem and I paid for my replacement part. It took 8 months to get my replacement!! Not because the part was so hard to get but because of the total incompetence of the La Jola staff. Despite already paying for parts my order got lost multiple times. Months went by without order even being placed. The order got lost. Then so much time passed that La Jola personal turned-over and new staff members didn’t look and pending orders. I had to call dozens of times and tell sales team what to do as if I worked there! FAST FORWARD to 2022 and it is Deja Vu all over again. I was having a problem with my BEOLIT 15. Talked to someone named Nicole who said she would look into if it was repairable and get back to me. That was the last time I heard from her. Multiple calls in the middle of work hours where no one picks up and no answering service. Multiple calls where a physical message is left with co-worker (the same guy involved in the previous debacle BTW) with absolutely no response or help (customer support- ha!). I ultimately had to go around them and talk to B & O’s Atlantic Repair facility - a number I had when I lived on the east coast. I called and got satisfaction from them - great guys. BOTTOM LINE , team B&O La Jola are a bunch of unresponsive, do- nothing losers who, I’m not sure how they even keep their jobs. I’ve seen better run/much more helpful Radio Shacks - how does a premium brand operate like this? Beware!!

I have to agree with Robert’s post. The girl that works there with the dog isn’t very helpful and has an attitude when you’re talking to her. Doesn’t want to help and doesn’t seem to know much about the products, specifically the H95 headphones. I came in another time and wanted to buy the A9 speaker and a man in his 30’s was rude and didn’t want to help at all. There’s an older gentleman who works there who has been really friendly. I love B&O products and have the A9, beolit, HX, Level, and have bought several A1’s and Explores for my friends. I love the products, but the people at this store are so unfriendly. They should be trained or find a career that they’d find more satisfaction in. Such a different experience from the Hollywood store or the ones I’ve been to in Germany. I’m a La Jolla local and would love to see them be friendlier and more welcoming.
