Apparently you must be in a “special” club or of a certain status to be serviced professionally. Let me start by saying; We are a fellow locally owned Alex City Business that purchased a Large glass window pane replacement during the stormy, winter season earlier this year.

First, it took FIVE weeks to get the glass pane in, bc there was always some reason why it hadn’t arrived. 🚩 It was finally installed in Late February 7 weeks after placing the order 🚩 ; & it was installed improperly as it was not sealed at the frame or baseline area (see pics); called and informed them with no response. 🚩Another storm came & of course it cracked / split completely up the middle of the glass. 🚩🚩🚩& We’ve been calling for 6weeks for someone to come out to check out their work & situation so we can get it fixed, but when you call they will take your number claiming they will call you back but never do!
This business is located in a small city, with not many options, you would think a business understands that all customers are important.
Again we are a small business simply trying to do business and provide our customers a safe location to dine.

Update: The window was fixed on May 31st.

These guys are top notch. Ordered my window, came in promptly and Sawyer and his guys came out the day the window came in and installed it. Friendly, quick, knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again. They did a great job. Professional for sure. Thanks guys!!

My in-laws had these non professional people do a door replacement. Did not clean their mess up,put silicone around the window edges,like some kid would. They put non stainless steel screws in the outside trim of the door that it is exposed to moisture. These people are a joke. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I have been to their office and called several times in the last few months to get somebody to come out to replace a broken window and nobody has ever called or come out. The answer is always the same "our guys are busy", I'd understand for 1 or 2 weeks but MONTHS?

My rating of one star for Alexander City Glass Company is generous considering the goat rope they put me through. It began on Thursday, Aug 8, when I called and asked them if they could cut a piece of glass for the top of my wife's new vanity. They said yes. The following day I took a template to them and placed my order. I was told it would take 7 - 10 days for delivery since they get their glass from a supplier (plant) in Georgia. On Aug 21, after not hearing from them, I  called to see if they had received my order. I was told no, that it might come in on Friday's delivery truck and to call back then. So on Friday, Aug 23, I called them and was advised it did not come in. Alex City Glass called the plant and was told that my template was missing. I was further told that the plant was searching for the template and to call back on Monday to see if they found it. So on Monday, Aug 26, I called and was told the plant did not find the template. Alex City Glass asked if I could bring them another template which I did this same day. Two days later, Aug 28, Alex City Glass called and said they received the glass. The plant had apparently found my first template. I went to pick it up this same day only to find that the glass, for some unknown reason, had a hole drilled in the middle of it. I live about 25 miles from Alex City Glass so each round trip is 50 miles. This was my third time going there. The second template from my Monday trip was still sitting in the office when I arrived. After viewing the defective glass, I took my second template, announced my displeasure with them and left. I've got several issues with this company. First, when the plant that produces your product loses a template...something is wrong somewhere. Secondly, when the plant allows a defective product to go out their door...something is wrong somewhere. Thirdly, when Alex City Glass failed to notice the defect when they received the product from the plant...something is wrong somewhere. And finally, when Alex City Glass failed to ensure 100 percent customer satisfaction before I walked out of their door for the final time...something is wrong somewhere. I waited patiently for three weeks and drove 150 miles for absolutely NOTHING!

UPDATE: Got the piece of glass cut at a shop in Auburn, AL -- WHILE I WAITED and for $10 less than what Alex City Glass wanted.

Contacted AC Glass to replace broken glass on door. They returned all my calls and made the repair in a timely manner. Would recommend.

My dad needed a small piece of glass for his door so he called in the order & i picked it up for him. The glass was ready when i got there . They were nice people.
