Dave is the owner and very knowledgeable and helpful about products in his store. He was quickly able to find out what dishwasher would work for me. Then he pointed out the differences in the final few models and I was able to make an informed decision. This is the difference when you shop at a family run store. Dave took the time to be helpful. I’m done shopping at big box corporation stores.

Our dryer quit drying, 1/10/24. No heat. It’s a 30 yr old Whirlpool electric, that’s been repaired already. I looked online, but there are so many choices.
That’s when we called Dave, at Abington Appliance. It was the best decision.

We already knew we could trust Dave, after buying our refrigerator from him, in 2016. He only sells reliable appliances. He’s honest, and takes the time to explain and answer questions.

I’m still impressed his price and service, for $795.xx, covered:
1. the new Maytag dryer (on sale!)
2. the replacement cord,
3. delivery,
4. installation, and
5. haul- away of our old one with no added costs.

Thanks to Dave, we had a working dryer, by 5:00 p.m. 1/11/24.

Very well conducted transaction. Order taken promptly and great delivery. No nonsense about six hours delivery window. Time was set precisely and delivered with a precision of a Swiss watch. At the same time Dave (delivery master) has shown every precaution and courtesy dispersing typical fears of possible damage to the delivered appliance (dishwasher) or house surfaces. His attention to details and willingness to follow instruction has made the process easy and safe event. Also, the appliance was already unpacked and ready for immediate installation and Dave even provided on his own initiative additional coupling ensuring trouble free installation. I have to add, that the cost of the device was higher comparing to Home Depot price, but the delivery cost was included in the price and the overall quality of the entire purchasing process make it worthwhile. Thumbs up to our local business for excellent service.

Abington Appliance has proven to be THE BEST for proven high quality appliances. Looking for a replacement washing machine after no luck getting the old one fixed, Dave showed me all the models, all the brands, explaining every detail of each. After the sale, delivery was same day and free removal of old washer, new one installed. Dave was beyond helpful when an issue unrelated to installation popped up and was here in minutes and fixed the issue so quickly! Great guy, great business. He went above and beyond!
