People warned me this place was too expensive for what you get. I wish I'd listened. But I needed something urgently. I ordered two identical fixtures: One was the last in stock, one was the floor model. They brought them out to me wrapped in bubble wrap and taped up in nondescript cardboard. I thought about opening them up to confirm they were correct and had all the hardware guaranteed, but I didn't want to spend more time in a public place during COVID. That was a mistake I won't make again. I paid (hundreds of $), and on the way out noticed the floor model had been removed, so I figured at least that one was correct and complete. Wrong. I didn't find that out though, until this weekend when I went to install them with my electrician. Opened the boxes, and the new light was missing hardware. Luckily, I had some hardware from the light I was replacing to use. I installed it, and then opened the other box with the floor model. It was the complete WRONG light fixture. I called the place, and they said I could come pick up the correct one, which was still set aside for me. If it was set aside for days, why did no one contact me? They had my info. I didn't want to drive 50 minutes round trip on a Sunday when I could be spending that time with my family, but I couldn't leave one new light installed next to my front door, and the other just missing. While on the phone, I asked for a discount, and was told "Wow, that's how you do business?" Yes. If you make a mistake that costs me time and money, I expect you to make it right. I agreed to meet someone outside the store to get the correct light, and when I arrived I made sure to inspect it thoroughly. Glad I did, because they forgot hardware and TWICE had to go back in the store to get the correct pieces. Between the many mistakes and the bad attitude, I will certainly never shop here again, and I would advise others not to either. But if you do, definitely thoroughly check your merchandise before you leave the store.

My wife and I went there this past week and I can say that they have an excellent selection of product that is available. The products are better than that "builder grade" type of product. They really have a great selection from Modern to industrial etc. The people were very helpful and when they only found out they had one of two lamps I wanted they quickly called their other store (who had the product) and I was able to pick up the product the next day. (they called me and left a message to let me know it was in). I didn't think the prices were out of "bounds" so we were quite happy and they nicely gave us a little discount when we mentioned who recommended us to them.

I purchased several lights from this place back in July 2022, as of today (12/14) I am still missing some of them. The ones I received were severely delayed. They make promises, they tell you I'll call you, they never do. They tell you oh in a week, two weeks, end of the month. Well its been 5 months, where are the lights? They are so quick to take your money and leave you hanging. One of the chandelier's I received had broken crystals and a bent frame, they want me to go back and forth with every issue they won't replace it. Save your time, money and trust in people, don't go here. Now, I am just in limbo waiting and falling for their false promises of ever calling me back.

Everyone was super helpful. Recently remodeled our house so we purchased all new lights. Now most of the compliments are for the light fixtures! After visiting several lighting stores going all the way into jersey, we found Lites Plus had the best showroom, carrying a wide variety. Best of all we found pricing to be extremely competitive. Couldn't be happier with our purchases.

I ordered 2 fixtures from lites plus on 4/15. One was a flush ceiling light and the other a bathroom vanity light. I was contacted on 4/19 and told that the ceiling light had been discontinued. I went back and ordered a different ceiling light. I received the ceiling light a few days later. I asked about the vanity light and they told they only had paper work /receipt for the ceiling fixture. I brought in a copy of my receipt for the vanity light. The woman behind the counter told me she would check on the order and get back to me. I did not hear back from her so I went back to the store. I was told that they were still waiting to hear back about my vanity light. Fast forward 3 weeks in total and I still do not have a vanity light. I went back to the store and was told again that they had no record of me purchasing a vanity light. I brought my copy of the reciept for the 2nd time and got a full refund as the item had been discontinued. I originally was told that it was the ceiling light that had been discontinued. They do not know what they are doing.
**Their stock employee was really nasty to me and it was not addressed with him. I was told this is the way he is with everybody.
They need a computerized tracking system. Their paper system is too antiquated and leaves a lot of room for error. The customers are the ones that suffer.
I will not be shopping there anymore. Capital lighting in Paramus is more organized and computerized.
